Hey,
Think I'm pretty close, I'm trying to set the position in a add node, for each point in posx
Was able to figure out how to activate the “usept” parameter and set position for each point but what I'm looking to do is set the position in ‘x’ using a list..
its easier to understand what I'm tying to say by looking at the attached file..
as always thanks in advance

thanks dave, this is what i was looking for… more tricky then i thought it would be…
the reason i need this technique is because im creating a news ticker. grouping points on a grid and want to transfer the point number onto a tube (to hard to select points on a tube)..
thanks a lot…

hey,
im a bit stuck, should be an easy enough problem to fix though, im trying to transfer point numbers from one grid to another…i created an attribute to collect the point numbers from a group of points of one grid and want to apply them to the other grid so i can control them on that grid…
as always thanks a lot

hey,
should be a simple enough thing, but i cant figure out how to access the code tab in a digital asset..
is it to do with changing the type of a node to python? if so how can you do that?

so the addEventCall back works great to read parameter values but doesnt seem to pick up key frames or expressions?
is there another function that can read live data from parameter values and still send it to the python shell?

never mind lol…
the reason it wouldn't work for me was because the event handler was set on “On Created” and all i had to do was call the digital asset for it to work lol..
silly mistake…

not sure where im going wrong(so i added a print screen shot)

im able to call a parameter pane (thanks), but how do you link it to a parameter pane you can pick, like a digital asset for example?
