Foliage assets become darker with distance on XPU.

So I've been experimenting with foliage in Karma, using the new stencil maps. But Ive noticed my assets (in this case moss) becomes completely black at a distance. I have thinwalled SSS on them since that seems to be the only way to get translucency on XPU. Maybe there is a better way to do foliage material that doesnt have these issues?

I suspect its a mipmapping issue, and maybe related to the diffuse texture (rather than the stencil)

What happens if you run with this envvar?
KARMA_XPU_DISABLE_MIPMAPS=1

It seems to have helped but not fixed it entierly
