Hello everyone!!!

Very often when i hit render the warning messege has appeared:::

invalid .mplay_lock file detected
could not open imager

Mplayer displays nothing (black screen)
Sometimes the rebooting of houdini helps sometimes does not.

What is the cause of this problem??
I just intalled 9.5.350 version, but i had the similar situation with 9.5.156

When rendering to mplay a lock file is created. Sometimes problems can arise if mplay crashes and doesn't clean up the lock file. Or if the permissions change some how so you no longer can read/write to the file. If it gives you trouble you can just delete it and everything should be fine.

On linux it resides in your $HOME/houdinix.x directory. On windows it should be in your user houdinix.x directory too, though it might also be in your $TEMP.
