Hi, yesterday I noticed something strange.
I've got nvidia quadro fx 4600 and my currently installed drivers number is 178.64.
Everything works ok - houdini runs smooth and looks good.
Yesterday I wanted to update my driver to the newest version - 186.18

and … after installation Houdini runs really slow and looks bad - this is underbuttons there are not shadows, but only black boxes and when I am for example changing UI color then I have to wait about 30 seconds! (with this old driver it was less than 2 seconds )
I tested other drivers newer than this installed in my computer and every works worser that old one.

Hmm…. why? Is there any solution to resolve this problem?
Which driver should I use to have the best performance?

Which version of Houdini are you running, and which OS are you using (WinXP 32bit, Win Vista 64bit, Ubuntu Linux etc)?

sorry, that i forgot to write down the specification:

houdini 10.0.323 (10.0.295 - the same result).
os- vista 64

It seems you have to roll back your drivers. The newest which works fine here is 180.xxx, the oldest one I use is 173.xxx. They both work fine on WinXp and Linux (both x64).
