drawing lines on 3d geometry

Hi! What Is the best way to draw curves on 3d geometry?
Is there any tool to do that?

You can template your 3D geometry, and then use the snapping options to snap to the template,

One thing when using snapping is not right though.
When I want f.e. to create line, that is on Platonic - teapot, convertet to polygons.
I can turn snapping on points, or primitivies and sometimes happens, that while drawing curve (and the teapot is templated) it snaps to other side of that object - to backfaces - can I turn of snapping to backfaces ?

Right-click on the Geometry mode icon (second one from the top in the viewport left toolbar) and choose Select Front Facing Only.
