Why is there only one rotation?

I've come to the great Houdini Council where the elders gather seeking for help in a time of need. I am working with a transform node and sometimes when I try to key it, it goes from having 3 rotations to only one. I solve this by restarting the software but it gets time consuming after a while. Is there a way to fix this or is it just a bug?

When a parameter have a grey box, its in expression mode (isolate the vector component in this case), if you want to see the three components again simply put your cursor as if you want to put a value and press enter.

This has been an unfortunately known bug in Houdini which no one seemed to be able to precisely replicate for sesi. It's been around, if I still remember correctly, since H8 or may be even earlier… Would definitely be nice if sesi can fix this……

In the mean time, move you mouse and hit tab and shift+tab a few time to see if it goes away… If not, restart…..
