When you jump to a future frame and Houdini starts calculating DOPs/POPs up to that point, the status message on the bottom of the window usually does not tell you which frame is being solved. It would be a really nice thing to see, to get an idea how much time things are going to take.
The bottom status message seems to be showing the “stack” of nodes needed to be cooked, in a real life situation the string is so much longer than available space that the info is pretty much useless. Maybe it could be shown either in reverse order, or fit the view to the end on the string instead of the beginning?

+1 from me as well. The frame number could also be placed at the start after elapsed time:
1:05 (frame 21) (Press ESC to cancel) Smoke_Dopnet …
1:05 (frame 21) (Press ESC to cancel) Smoke_Dopnet …
