I have need to check recompute tangents on some of my digital assets (mainly when I am using POM material on curved surface with smoothing groups, or the pom looks horrible and moves with the camera).
I have found where I can turn this setting on for everything but have not located a way to set it via the asset build process. I am trying to get my assets so they are one click and done (so I do not forget the manual settings when I have to regenerate assets). Also this is needed when using face weighted normals with smoothing.
It would be nice if I could set this on the houdini asset instance in UE or better yet if I could set it via an attribute detail in my asset in houdini.
Any ideas?
