Does anyone know how to make Color Picker work with 32 bit?

do you have an example of the issue? The color picker already works in 32bit. i.e. 0.151058 has 6 significant digits.

“Inspect” shows true values in Viev window, but ColorPicker does not accept values greater than one and less than zero(clumping).

I believe the eyedropper grabs from the system screen, which has already quantized the color to 8bit (or 10bit, if you happen to be running a monitor/GPU/Window manager capable of that).

I have sent this as RFE for some time now and it seems to be very low in the priority list.
I would love a better color picker and for ramp/gradients: it would be great to implement something like substance designer has.
