Hey guys!

Could you please help someone? I'm a photographer, and sometimes (like now) I'd like to mix 3D environments with my photographed living models. I use a stand-in to represent my model in the scene, and I'd like to render the shadow of the stand-in without the object itself. Is it possible? I tried matte-shadow, but unfortunately, it renders the object as a black matte, which I don't need (desperately don't need )

You can give your ground object a Shadow Matte material and put that as a Forced Object in the mantra node, then put your stand in model in the Forced Phantom list. It will cast a shadow but not be visible to the camera.
