Hi

Is anybody else experience trouble using pivot paint?

I tried following this video: https://www.sidefx.com/tutorials/game-tools-pivot-painter/ [www.sidefx.com]

However the source files are missing so I cant actually directly look into it. I've followed it exactly using the same asset from the ue4 ( the tree ) but it always comes out looking completely wrong.



UV2 on the reference tree from ue4 example content:

it looks like the pivot locations are completely off.
Is this tool outdated or am I doing something wrong?

this is the setup inside houdini using a partition to separate the leaves and bark:

I've attached the scene and the tree mesh in a zip

Ive tried this method on some very simple objects but those failed too:
