Value clip on USD skel animation impossible ?

Hello i have been trying to get a value clip to work on a USD character animation,
It just doesnt seem to work.
Is this at all possible and if not, why not ?

I'm not aware of any limitations in USD that would prevent this from working.
Do you have an example of your setup?
