Exporting usd point instancing from SOPs June 18, 2025, 3:03 a.m.

thanks cwhite this is definitely faster but is there a way to make it as fast as sop during viewport playback in solaris? also notice that the agents are gray but the geometry is blue even thought in it's supposed to be instanced USDskel, maybe it is and in the new version it doesn't show the legend as blue?

Exporting usd point instancing from SOPs June 17, 2025, 7:08 a.m.

I'm Using the crowd Import sop and crowd procedural nodes, but I thought something was wrong, because the color of the instances was gray, and usually usdskel instances are blue in the graph, also I'm new to solaris but the speed of my crowds isn't as fast as sops idk if this is normal?

Pseudo AI Crowd agents question June 17, 2025, 6:57 a.m.

How do I make my crowd agents target random point when they "attack" each other, I'm using 2 sources opposite each other and making them run at each other and using a pop attraction force in the dop network I'm using a point I'd attribute that I made do tell the attract to points in proximity they transition fk an attack state, which works, but some agents keep running, how do I emulate a real style medieval battle? Basically I want all agent to try to find points on the other side and attack, it would be nice if there was a pseudo AI vex crowd tutorial
