'NetworkEditor' object has no attribute 'multiParmTab' June 29, 2025, 11:33 p.m.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a muscle simulation setup in Houdini 20.5.487, and I've encountered a strange issue related to the Muscle Properties SOP node.

As soon as I move my mouse into the 3D viewport while the Muscle Properties node is active in the network, I get the following Python error in the console:
Image Not Found

This only happens when the mouse is over the viewport — if the cursor is over the network editor or parameter pane, the error does not occur. Everything else seems to work fine, but this error pops up repeatedly whenever interacting with the viewport.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this a known bug or is there a workaround I can try?

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Ragdoll Not Working for Props! Feb. 25, 2025, 1:24 a.m.

I am using Houdini 20.5.27 and trying to apply Ragdoll to a prop (e.g., a ball) following the exact steps from the Animation Workshop 12 | Ragdoll | Props tutorial.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JVgi_9Q7ho) However, I am encountering several issues:

1. When switching to Ragdoll Mode in Animate Mode, Houdini does not automatically generate a .ragdoll controller for my prop.
2. The "Active" checkbox in the Ragdoll settings cannot be enabled, preventing the simulation from running.
3. I have ensured that the prop is selected correctly before entering Ragdoll Mode.
4. The tutorial shows the process working seamlessly, but in my case, nothing happens when switching to Ragdoll Mode.
5. There are no apparent error messages or warnings in Houdini’s console.

Is there an additional setting I might be missing in Houdini 20.5.27 that prevents the Ragdoll system from working on props? Have there been any changes in this version that require a different workflow compared to the tutorial? Any troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
