In this video, we're going to be looking at how to create lights in Houdini! First we enable High Quality Lighting with Shadows so that we can see light and shadow information within the 3D viewport. Then we great a pointlight and position and aim the light where we want, and also adjust the Intensity and the colour of the light itself. We'll make a spotlight and modify it accordingly (Intensity and position/aiming of the light), We can also see how to position the light and change the falloff using the Handle tool. We also make an arealight and an Environment light and assign a .hdr image to it.
