During the first portion of the course, we'll address the general ideas that go into creating RBD simulations. Fracturing, Constraints, and Simulation make up the three main portions of an rigid body simulation. In addition to the theory, there are plenty of tips and tricks which help you avoid confusion as you approach RBD for the first time.
Once we have a solid idea of how this works in general, we'll then move on to a practical example featuring our friend Eugiene the Battering Ram. Here, we'll also explore more complex setups which feature boolean fracturing and constraint setups which are slightly more complex. During this part of the course, you'll get a good idea of how we can take the basic ideas we just learned and use them in a practical way.
Lastly, as we complete the stone-wall effect, I'll then introduce additional exercises that come with the course. These exercises are totally great because it allows you to be in the driver's seat as you go about completing specific challenges that gradually become more difficult. Detailed commentary offers you instructions for each challenge, and this becomes an effective way to solidify your newly gained knowledge for all your future endeavors.
