This example project demonstrates the variety of tools available in Houdini 21 to create complex and robust character rigs.
Using Houdini 21's new Auto Rig Builder, you can create a production ready rig within minutes. And with the new Fuse Graph workflow, your rig prototypes can be easily merged into your main character rig. You can take your prototype rigs and save them out as custom components in the Auto Rig Builder, or merge entire rigs.
We then use rig to create complex animations using hand-keyed animation, ragdoll and animation layers, and show how Kinefx can easily be added into the mix using the new APEX Animation from Skeleton Node.

Before Houdini 21, Max Rose was the go to for many people trying to grasp APEX. Glad to see he was immortalized by making an entry worthy of the Content Library. May you never be forgotten as a champion of APEX first adopters when being skeptical was the easier way to go.

Thanks so much for this, Max! Harry is a fantastic character. Do you have a breakdown or tutorial on how he is created? Also, thanks for all the training you have already posted. I rely on it so much!
