The Houdini Certified Instructor program is designed for qualified instructors who have knowledge of the Houdini software and are able to lead courses in a variety of settings including, but not limited to: In-classroom at a university or college; in a training studio as a commercial instructor; online, creating web-based tutorials and learning for users.
Candidates can apply to take the Houdini Exam and become a Houdini Certified Instructor.

The Houdini Certified Instructor credential ensures trainers and instructors possess the ability to deliver high-class training to learners. Applicants must be able to demonstrate their ability to teach fundamental Houdini concepts by submitting a video clip or recording along with their Instructor Application.

About the Houdini Exam
The Houdini Certified Instructor program is a two-step process for eligible instructors:
Step 1) Instructor Application: Collects candidates' teaching experience details
Step 2) Houdini Exam: Demonstrates and validates the competent skills needed for success as a Houdini user
It is expected that all candidates for the exam have a strong familiarity with Houdini, and a working knowledge of computer graphics theory and implementation. The online proctored exam consists of 60 questions. Each exam candidate is allotted 90 minutes to complete their exam. The exam is delivered online through the Certiverse platform and requires each applicant to schedule a time to take their exam.
