Hi there,

How are we meant to use the Karma Texture Baker in Solaris with a UDIM asset?

Currently I have just a single mesh needing an AO baked out. It has 1001-1004 UDIMs

Am I missing something here? Based on the docs I should be seeing:

/Render/karmabake_1001/Products/product_1001_Oc
/Render/karmabake_1001/Products/product_1002_Oc
/Render/karmabake_1001/Products/product_1003_Oc
/Render/karmabake_1001/Products/product_1004_Oc

..from what I understand?

Rendering out I get the AO but only for 1001, even changing the default UDIM to 1002 it still renders 1001.

Any tips?

Hi,

This seems to be a bug. Could you please share the hip file with us or better if you log a bug please. Thanks.

This seems to be a bug on the view port. If you use USD Render ROP node, you can set Render Settings to "/Render/*" to render all UDIMs.

So,

- To render UDIMs all at once set USD Render ROP > Render Settings to "/Render/*"
- If Render Settings is left empty it uses "Default UDIM" tile on Kamra Texture Baker node
- To change the view port to the desired tile, select Render Settings under the view port
Karma Perspective menu as in the attached image.
