Snap on Geometry curve creation only on "visible".

Trying to draw curves onto a model but it keeps adding points on the back / inside (invisible side) of the geometry, as if anybody would wnat that :$ I tried with and withouth "occlusion" on and pretty much all other options before coming down here and bother you good people. But nothing seems to do it. What am i missing here please?

EDIT: It seems tweaking the Snapping Mode gravities fixed a lot of my issues. I didn't know after all these years. Defaults were too low for the scale of my scene and it was going through the points / edges / prims. My bad.

The only trick i found to be able to work around this... deleting the backfacing primitives based on my active camera view. Not ideal but good enough for now. But if anybody has a smarter way please do share.
