Houdini has got to be trolling me at this point! The simulation was fine until I hit render

did another audio reactive animation using the only known recording of Harry Houdini speaking on an Edison phonograph



Turns out I gave my RBD too much pre-roll so the points went to sleep and pscale animation doesn't wake it up.

Recreated the talking to a wall meme
Animating the character took most of the time because I'm not an animator. (Look at the number of keyframes! :o)
I then sped up the animation to get that meme-like effect

For this challenge I found a pretty cool tutorial about making sound reactive visuals and used some audio from a very haunting Liquid Television short, episode 202



I did a render of a rotating skull in a separate hip file to use as the offset texture, but I don't think I set the lights up in a way that gave a very good greyscale gradient over the mesh unfortunately, maybe a greyscale from world position would come out better, something to try later
