Shatter node

Ok so I'm noticing some weired issues with the shatter node. So I'm shattering an Egg, so my process was to Model the egg using a cube and sub D's, then to try out the new shatter node (I'm familiar with the old way). What I'm finding is that once my egg hits the ground and breaks apart the individual pieces aren't acting as individual pieces it's as if there center of mass is staying the same as when it was part of the whole egg. So i end up with results like egg shelfs standing on corners and other things like that.

So is this because I am using the shatter node and not separating everything out, is it better to use a rbd fracture node to bring it in to my DOP network?

Or an RBD Glue (I think that's what it's called) so it doesn't break apart until force is applied to it. You can change how strong the glue is in the sim.
