world space error?

Ok, I'm using H 10.0.401, Fedora 10 (home) and Ubuntu 8.x LTS (school). I have a scene that for some reason has experienced some sort of world space distortion. The world origin is offset, but even stranger (and incredibly frustrating before I knew what was happening) the ST coords of my objects were slightly rotated (maybe 20 degrees).

I've deleted pretty much everything in the scene and it's still doing it. I started a new scene and copy/pasted all my networks into it, and the distortion didn't follow. So I don't think it has to do with my networks. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and figured out why it's happening. I've talked to a few other students in my department, and they too have had similar issues.

I'll include a copy of the corrupted scene. It's not a crippling issue as the copy pasting will fix it, I guess I'm just curious as to what's happening.

your scene is fine
it's just that you have Construction Plane offset
you can see it in top right viewport menu persp1/Construction Plane Properties

to quickly reset it you can persp1/Set Construction Plane/Revert To Defaults
