Hi guys.
How can I always set CPU priority to “Below Normal” for manra.exe when batch rendering !?
It back to “Normal” after finishing each frame !
But that's working perfectly on Linux :?

Or http://www.askvg.com/how-to-permanently-set-process-priority-in-windows-task-manager/ [askvg.com] but you have to buy full version for something more than just personal use.

I suppose you could write a wrapper .bat with “start mantra /LOW” and pass the arguments to that, and replace the mantra command in the ROP with the mantra wrapper.

Still ugly, though - would be nice to have that ability built in, perhaps a mantra command line argument or environment variable.

Yes, that's perfect idea , Also maybe we can write a python script for doing this operation in the Mantra node :?

Task Manager Pro didn't work perfectly
I don't know why , But it is sometimes working correctly and another day it can't save priority and CPU priority for mantra.exe turning back to Normal on each frame !
So I wanna write a Python script inside of the Mantra node for this purpose :?

Maybe Windows is not so good at priorities, as Nuke also has priority but ‘high’ only for OsX & Linux:

–priority p run the application with a different priority, choose from:
high (only available to super user on Linux/OS X)
medium
low
