Is it possible to assign a shortcut for example for add sphere sop in the network viewer?
I know this is possible to set in the viewport such a shortcut, but it seems not possible for the networkviewer.

Sort of.
Go to Settings > Hotkeys…
Then, go to: /Houdini/Panes/Geometry Viewers/Operations/Modeling (SOP Operations/Sphere
This will only work if you hit your hotkey at viewport. I don't think you can do it on at the network editor though…
