I'm coming over from Maya and have just downloaded Houdini Apprentice. I am following along with the Houdini Foundations PDF, and every time I try and select a point in Houdini, it doesn't select the point under my cursor, but rather some other arbitrary point on my object. I've tested this with the soccer ball we create following the PDF, and also just a subdivided cube. On the cube I noticed I can select corner points, but if I try and select any other point, it will select the wrong point.
The uploaded picture shows the issue, the screenshot doesn't capture my cursor so I've circled in red the point my cursor was hovering over, and you can see in blue the point Houdini has selected.
