Usually for this kind of sims, I was using the pop grain setup from the cgwiki.

But he says it's deprecated because of Vellum. So I decided to translate the same setup into vellum. The setup is also using the resample sop and generating new constraints everytime time-step until the string stops growing. Not very straight forward with vellum, but it seems stable.

Scene setup and render in Solaris with KarmaXPU. Once you bake the USD stage, Karma runs fast and smooth.
