Slapped with a problem again!

Adding more edge loops to the model using “EdgeDivide” but it also createdunwanted edges & some of the edges were not properly connected, messed with settings like tolerance etc - none could rectify it completely.

Was removing unwanted edges with “Dissolve”, it broke when i readjusted the divisions in “EdgeDivide” above.

“Subdivide” does give me clean edges but i dont want extra division on the high-density bevels and i dont plan to add 1 loop at a time with “PolySplit”.

Anybody know a solution or could point me to one, much appreciated! ><

For this modeling problem I always use a polysplit to divide the edges one single time in the desired direction. After that I append a polybevel to create as much divisions as I need.

That's neat, this will work for me! Now I have another reason for using PolyBevel.
Thank you, dennis.

I see the relative inset was set to 1 and was wondering if these points/edges were fused together or merely overlapping each other.
I checked & the answer was they fused up so if anybody had the same question in mind, nothing to worry about.
