I'm not sure if this is an RFE or not, but I'm trying to constrain some wire objects right now where the top few points should be following some animation., and was thinking that it would be nice if there were a “weight” attribute that could be used with sbdpin contraints so that it isn't simply an “on” “off” relationship.

Is there a way to get this type of behaviour directly in DOPS? or should I just stick with using a blend in SOPs?

have you tried SBD Spring constraint?

It is now RFE #36037.

The SBD Spring Constraint DOP will do what you want but multiple constraints will be necessary if you want to vary the spring strengths per constrained point.

Thanks Guys. I'm doing a falloff in sops for now, though the spring constraint appears to be useful for other things.
