In 3ds max when ever I select a vertex, edge, or poly, there was the X, Y and Z position at the bottom of the screen, which would tell me the position, and then I could move/set it.
I'm looking everywhere for it but don't see it anywhere. I use it so often, especially when making plastic parts so I can align things perfectly, but things like this seems to be way more complicated then they need to be, correct me if I'm wrong.

And I do thing Houdini is f-ing awesome, IMO max is starting to become out dated (a lot of the tools can mess your mesh up, or need manual fixing after), but max certainly made tools that you(I) use a lot, much easier and quicker to use, where in Houdini if you want to do the same thing, it seems to be a process.

Make sure that you have on Guides > Floating Gnomon

As you can see on my screen I can see that on my bottom left

Thanks for reply, but floating Gnomon was already on and I'm not seeing the bar like yours, any ideas?

Edit: That's showing up now with edges, wasn't with points. But I just realized that's the Soft edit Radius, and not the world position.

with your cursor in the viewport
hit ‘d’
you'll get the Display Options
the first TAB is for Markers - among them is XYZ Coords for Points…

Thanks!

Is there a way to set them to a specific world position?
