HQueue on a NAS?

It depends on the NAS. If it's Linux-based, it may be possible.
I would personally not do it though. The pre-made NASes are typically stingy on hardware specs, for profit reasons, and are also very conservative with the type of linux distro used, sometimes also altered to be their own one, entirely.
I'd rather run Hqueue on another box, it can be a relatively small and old one (one of your previous PCs for example), but where you have full control over the operating system and the services it runs.
