Hi, I´m new to hair in Houdini. I´m trying to groom a Wolf´s fur and when it comes to the hairgen Node I get the following Warnings:

Invalid source /obj/hairgen1/hairgen2/hairgencore
Warning: Guide input has neither a rest (point) or restroot (primitive) attribute.
Using P instead of rest for all inputs.
Error: Invalid skinprim attribute values found on guide curves.

Can anyone explain to me what´s wrong and how I can fix it?

disclaimer: I have NFI what I am doing….but it just looked a bit odd, so I did the most obvious thing…rerouted the connection to the 1st input

…no error:

reroute not working.. the fur not generated

try to tick 'Render Guide' on 'HairGenerate SOP', it will render the guides so we setup the density on the GuideGroom SOP
