Hi all. before I dive into Mari I though I would pose the question here:

I have a model of a building. I have two copies of this building, the first with original UV's and the second with new UV's. Is there a way to transfer the textures from the original building with original UV's over to the new UV-d model?

Best

Mark

EDIT: never mind. Labs maps baker does the trick!

Using houdini I assume? There's always the COPs route, but dealing with UDIMs in COPs can be quite cumbersome. The secret to using composite operators for texture work is the uvsample/uvdist vex functions with the vop2cop.

Yeah, I stole the uvsample idea from labs baker. I didn't find it offered enough control, so I tend to roll my own setups and use wedging to handle udims.
