Feature Request: Improve Chromatic Aberration node Feb. 19, 2026, 3:46 a.m.
Hi SideFX team, In Copernicus, the current Chromatic Aberration node behaves mostly like a simple RGB channel offset. It separates the channels, but the result often looks too sharp and “digital”.
Could you please consider adding an optical-style chromatic aberration mode, where the channels are not only shifted, but also blurred/spread? In real lenses the color fringing near the edges is usually soft rather than three crisp displaced outlines.
I understand that it’s possible to build a custom asset/network to achieve this (I’ve demonstrated the result in the attached image), but it would be great to have this as a built-in, standard feature of the node. That would make Chromatic Aberration much more practical for everyday look-dev and compositing tasks.
Thanks!

Feature Request: Anti-Aliasing / Supersampling Node in COPs Jan. 29, 2026, 4:40 a.m.
Hello SideFX team,
I would like to request a dedicated anti-aliasing / supersampling node for COPs (COPERNICUS), similar to the solution available in Substance Designer.
Currently, the only reliable workflow is to work at 2× resolution and then downscale using Resample + Size Ref, which is indirect and resource-heavy.
There is also the Denoise AI node (Intel Denoiser v2.2), but this is not proper anti-aliasing. It behaves as a denoiser, alters edge structure, and produces worse results compared to true supersampling. Substance Designer provides significantly cleaner edges for this use case.
A dedicated node that applies proper edge-aware anti-aliasing directly on the input image, without resolution-based workarounds, would greatly improve texture and pattern workflows in COPs.
