Another option. In Safari openSettings>Advancedand check theShow features for Web developersbox.
A new menuDevelopappears, chooseUser Agent>Google Chrome. Reload the page and the error goes away.
That didn't work for me (changing User Agent), but, the Develop menu has a 'Open Page With' option, this allows you to authenticate without having to change your default browser first.

Yup. I force deleted Launcher and did not update it on the 2nd install.
