Live Stream Part 1:  Crowds Agent / Ragdoll Setup & Crowd Simulation

Live Stream Part 2:  Kine FX Rig to Crowd Agent & Crowd Simulation


Part 1 does most of the Crowd Agent setup and Ragdoll Collision Layer and Joints setup.  This prepares the Crowd Agent for the Crowd Simulation.  In part 1, you'll end up with a simple working Crowd Simulation.



Part 2 will continue off the Stream from the simple Crowd Simulation with the Ragdoll drop down scene and swap out the Zombie Agent characters for a Kine FX bug rig that is converted into a Crowd Agent.  I'll add RBD Collision into the Crowd Simulation and use the RBD Impact to trigger the ragdoll state, which will be used to knock down the Zombies.

Transitioning from a coder to a 3D artist. Houdini was the best option for me after I explored a different number of 3D software applications. I love the procedural workflow in Houdini and how easily accessible the attributes of the geometry are available to the user. This makes it a lot easier to focus on creating a good render and less time wasted on trying to figure out how to access certain geometry points or edges.
