In this tutorial I want to show you how to use the uvs geometry to save color onto points. If we uv the geo, we have control over the stretching of the images on the geo, then we can turn the color of the image into Cd ( meaning color ) saved onto the points. That way when we use popnet, the points will keep the information of the color from the image and create beautiful dissolving fx. On this first part, ill show you how to dissolve with some nice pyro advection on for the pop sim to feel more interesting.
