  I've been obsessed with Lip Sync in Houdini recently, but I have solely relied on other 3D applications to create my Blendshapes, UNTIL NOW! This inspired me to create my own HDA to procedurally deform meshes all staying within Houdini with a few mouse clicks. I created a Facial Deformer HDA which generates all the different mouth shapes and spit it all out into blendshapes which are necessary for the Lip Sync workflow! Quick and easy! The best thing about my HDA is that I can use it to make different characters talk with lip sync all within a matter of minutes!

Transitioning from a coder to a 3D artist. Houdini was the best option for me after I explored a different number of 3D software applications. I love the procedural workflow in Houdini and how easily accessible the attributes of the geometry are available to the user. This makes it a lot easier to focus on creating a good render and less time wasted on trying to figure out how to access certain geometry points or edges.
