Hi, thank you for the tutorial. I followed the steps (Houdini 18.5 latest build) but when I get to the step of adding pop grains after adding sopsolver - it completely blows out the simulation.

Hi, exactly same problem for me. I think the problem is missing "restlength" attribute, which is required for the "Explicit Constraints" solver of POP Grains node (according to the documentation). I tried to add the attribute, but seems did something wrong and system still produce no output (though attribute is actually added, I may see it in the geometry spreadsheet).

Actually, I was wrong. Sorry. The "restlength " attribute created with "Convert Line" node inside of "SOP Solver" node.

I am not skipped any steps in this tutorial... but I have to check it in 18.5... meanwhile here is the .HIP file for the same. you just open it in 18.5 and still face some problem let me know..

Your file actually worked as expected, just tested it. I am currently trying to rebuild the tutorial from scratch, will let you know soon what result I will get. Thanks for your help!

I rebuilt the tutorial from the scratch and all now works as expected. I did some tests trying to do things wrong by intention and it seems the only viable explanation of my original issue is that I missed the "Convert Line" node inside the "SOP Solver" node. This is the exactly node which creates the "restlength" attribute required for the "Explicit Constraints" part of "POP Grains" node. So, this is just my bad, I am very sorry for bothering you. And let me please say it once again that your tutorial is great one! Thank you very much ! :)

PS @LukeP, could you please check your file for "Convert Line" node and let us know if you have this node in your graph ? Thanks in advance !
