Learning a lot of useful things from this. Well put together and organized and not too difficult to follow. Thanks for taking the time to record this.
One thing to note: On Houdini 17.5.173
If you Create Reference Copy to create the right half and then change the values, it will actually update the original nodes on the left, so you end up with two right halves. I had to do a full copy without reference.

Glad you like it.
Actually after reference copying, you just have to ctrl+shift click on the parameter you want to change, that breaks the reference just for this parm and your set to go.
All the other nodes will still update whic is what you want. That should be the same in all Houdini versions.

One of the best houdini tutorials I've seen, hoping you continue to make training resources.

Hi, first of all thanks for your tutorial. I feel I´m learning a lot with you.
I wanted to ask you if there´s any difference in the strut_constraints vellum node in the 20.5 houdini version.
when i put the vellum nodes, i can see the constraints of cloth and strut separately, if one of the two nodes is by-passed. But when both are activated I can´t see the struts constraints, and as now I´m working in the begining of the 3rd tutorial I can´t see the constraints in the middle of the partition of the cel.
Thanks a lot for your tutorial and your clear process of explaining.
