Can I co-term my licenses?
-
The annual upgrade plan (AUP) on perpetual licenses is normally renewed each year on the anniversary of the original purchase. You should receive renewal quotes well in advance of the renewal date so that we can receive payment before the renewal date.
If you have purchased licenses with different anniversary dates you may to co-term them so they come up for renewal at the same time, so long as you are paying for at least 9 months of AUP at a time.
For example, suppose one of your licenses renews December 1 and all your other licenses renew on November 1. If your license's next AUP renewal would normally be for the period covering December 1, 2026 to November 30, 2027 you can switch the renewal date to November 1, and pay AUP for the 11 month period from December 1, 2026 to October 31, 2027.
Now suppose one of your licenses renews October 1 and all your other licenses renew November 1. You are unable to renew just the 1 month the period from October 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026 since this is below the 9 month minimum. So, to co-term the license to use a November 1 date, you would need to renew from the 13 month period from October 1, 2026 to October 31, 2027.
