believe me: its sometimes frustrating to be a newbie… :?

I try do model a keva-plank-tower. The end result should look like i.E. this here:

I oriented myself on the tutorial from Peter Quint

I want to model it comletely procedural. But already after few steps the problems rise.
Hopefully anyone could give me an advice or a tutorial.
