Hi,

I am using H 13.0.376 on OS X 10.7 on a Mac Book

When I tried creating a new operator type, finishing up creates the “Edit Operator Type Properties” dialog window but it is taller than the vertical resolution of my laptop hence I am unable to click the accept or other buttons at the bottom.

Any nifty trick to get past this UI restriction ?

There is an app called ‘RDM.app’ that allow you to change you monitor to higher resolutions, on a MacPro you can go todouble the normal monitor res size. It may worth trying it. It also allows you to turn on Retina - HiDpi

Unfortunately, my laptop is a 2008 MacBook (not even Pro), no Retina stuff.
I suppose one more reason to upgrade before 10.7 won't run Houdini ;-)

It's up to you but it's worth trying RDM.app. You don't need a retina display.

This problem is not only for OSX , It's for any laptop !

Try this way :

Edit–>Preferences–>General User Interface

Then set Global UI Size to smaller value.
I hope it can help you
