Apparently my Apprentice is corrupted after only 2 weeks of use!

THIS IS THE ERROR–

HOUDINI CONSOLE:

CUsers/ken/Documents/houdini14.0/config/Icons/SVGIcons.cache' corrupted?

Can I work with it like this? { i can't seem to get rid of the popup }

I tried to reinstall a new version over the corrupted, but I get the same
error.

Try to clear Houdini preferences folder.

Go to your user folder > find houdinixx.xx folder > delete it or rename it like houdinixx.xx_bak.

Make sure your using latest build and GPU drivers.

the SVGIcons.cache is a file created by Houdini when you first run it (or when you change the UI settings)…it's basically the icons for the interface - shelf buttons etc…
it can get messed up occasionally

just delete the Icons folder and Houdini will rebuild it the next time it starts.
