Dear SESI folks,

I have some qt windows I'm using that are colored dark (to match “Houdini Dark”) and they look fine in 14.0.258. However, in 14.0.291 and 14.0.335, the backgrounds of my windows have gone white. I haven't changed anything about these windows.

I think this may be due to a fix in Houdini 14.0.285 (description below) and related to Stalkerx777's problem reported in Jan 19th's post on “Some Qt questions” https://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=172&page=viewtopic&t=37300&highlight=stylesheet [sidefx.com]

“Houdini 14.0.285: Reworked Qt style sheets so they are no longer set at the application level. The Houdini style sheet can still be set on standalone PySide windows using widget.setStyleSheet(hou.ui.qtStyleSheet()). ”

I am setting my colors manually as this code is run in other programs like maya and nuke as well as houdini.

widget.setStyleSheet(style.format(**colors))

where colors looks like this:
colors = {# Black, Greys, White.
“black”: “rgb(0,0,0)”,
“dark_grey”: “rgb(42,42,42)”,
“grey”: “rgb(68,68,68)”,
“light_grey”: “rgb(120,120,120)”,
“white”: “rgb(255,255,255)”,
}

Is there something that I need to change to get my original colors back?

I'm on linux x64.
