Hello everyone, I am hoping someone can help me with this. I have a simple scene that I am using to practice with. I only want to cache the velocity and density of the smoke. I have cached before but I don't know how to only get those fields. Also I am trying to understand how to import the cache to use as an advect. Would I make a geo node and use a dop i/o?
On DOP I/O you can choose which fields are imported (see the gif).
For Advecting by volumes, you can point it to a SOP (reading a cache), or even point it to an object/volume within DOPs, and have them solve at the same time.
