I'm running Indie 15.5.480.
I changed the unit and length in Preferences/Hip File Options to inches/1 inch.
But when I enter the display/grid tab to adjust the grid spacing I don't appear to have the ability to actually change anything. It appears disabled. Is this a limitation of the Indie version? Or is there something else I'm missing?
I need to have the grid divisions easily seen when modeling for 3D printing. This is very useful for keeping track of wall thickness as I'm modeling. I'm typically working with a minimum of 1/4 inch thickness, and while yes I can and generally do use a 1/4 cube as a reference, I still need to have the grid divisions set to 1 inch and 1/4.
Thanks in advance for clarification.

Ok, didn't realize that to edit those settings you needed to actually have an ortho view open. Makes some sense I suppose.
I do see that there doesn't seem to be an option to have thicker main unit lines (inch) and thinner (1/4 inch) lines. The only thing I can do is set the divisions to .25, which works but it's not what I was hoping for.
This also only seems to affect the ortho views, while the 3D view grid apparently has no options I am aware of.
Are there any advanced grid settings in Houdini that would let me match Maya's grid settings?
