Custom HUD's

Curious if there is any documentation or if any onw knows how to customize the HUD's in Houdini? I am trying to create a more intuitive animation environment that is intuitive for my animators.

I searched with “hud” as the keyword and got the following results:

Do you mean HUD handles or camera HUDs? In Houdini 8.0 cameras (and lights) have a Camera mask parameter. All you have to do is point it to a SOP and it will display that SOPs geometry as a HUD when you're looking through the camera and have have the mask display turned on. The SOP geometry must be in the XY plane and is stretched from (0,0)-(1,1) to fit the aspect of the camera.

Thanks for the replies,

I was thinking of something a little different though. I am trying to create my own interface that is interactive. I'd like to adjust the current HUD to add a dimension to it. An XY, rather than the linear HUD, to blend facial animation.
