Hello All. I couldnt find anything on google that helped, so i ask here.
When i setup a scene with an Environment Light and putting in a .hdr map, it works fine on my local PC (no -H cmd added). As soon as i add the “-H workstation,workstation2” command to Mantra, it shows no more environment map when i hit render, just a solid orange like color (preview or bucket) but in the viewport it shows up properly.
Steps i did:
1. Open Houdini
2. Add Mantra node (-H workstation,workstation2)
3. Add Env Light
4. Add an .hdr (or jpg, exr, png) to env light`s Env-Map-Slot
5. Add Camera
6. Hit Render
The .hdr image is on a mapped network drive where i store all my assets and use a lot with 3ds Max & VrayDR. I think it`s some kind of setting inside Houdini that causes this?
Thank you for any help in advance.

I fixed it myself after hours of testing.
If someone else runs into the same Problem under windows:
1. Mapped Drives dont work (at least for me), you need to use UNC Paths for your textures.
2. Run the Service “HoudiniServer” as Administrator and not as Local System Account.

Type in your windows username (admin account ofc) and password. Restart Server.
