Hi,Hey guys,I am a Houdini VFX User, through Every generation new version update,Houdini is in version 17, fluid source node has been removed,For me personally,This new process is a bit uncomfortable
In the new Houdini version,You need to use these to build the fluid source framework:
————
Pyro Source, Attribute Noise, Volume Rasterize Attributes, volume, Volumevelocity
All in all, it takes more nodes to build a fluid source, wow, that's troublesome!
Personally, I often need to use Pyro to create visual effects such as Fire,Smoke, explosions,Dust…
Back to the topic, in order to build the fluid source faster, I built some nodes into Houdini,And package them into Digital Assets,All common functions are presented as parameterized panels,And Before the fluid source, custom-created density, fuel temperature, etc. can be inherited
This node supports any version of Houdini, asset format OTLS.
I packaged it into a tool, in order to speed up Pyro production efficiency. I do not oppose the use of built-in nodes, one by one to build a fluid source frame

The main function:
————
1.scalar particles:
Under this label, I ported all the functions of Pyro Source,And added collision and pump function
2.Velocity Volumes
Under this label, all the functions are the same as the previous version. The only difference is the addition of pump and Collision, two speed presets
3.More Detail
Under this label, you can apply Noise to color, including some Fit,and remove of black and white areas of “point” The last sub-tag,can be applied“Noise” to the density/fuel/temperature
4.Volume
Under this label, the specified attributes will be used to generate voxels,Of course, you can also set Voxel Noise here And vector blur,Regarding generating collisions, it will also be completed under this tab
If you feel that this node is helpful to you, welcome to share it with colleagues, although he is very simple, haha
